Ribbon entwined dreams
All your own and all of mine
Day dream about a city
Where moon doth glow and sun doth shine.
A black topped recluse, lips supportive of his weight
Studies merrily a lady, lonesome at an iron gate
Nimble chatter it does strike, a chemistry so rare
Conversing about London, tales of drama and despair
Black top swears he'd die
Had fair lady try move away
A luxury of letters
Leads two hopeless minds astray
Black top does shy so sweetly
At fair lady standing near
A euphoria of two minds
A fantasy locking into gear.
Fair lady writes a letter
To be sent through local post
Words to stimulate your dreams
Envision echoes of a ghost.
A partnership fate did form
For, my God, if it did not,
Who'd be so lost in translation
Loveless worries, all forgot
Black top swears he'd die
Had fair lady try move away
A luxury of letters
Led two hopeless minds astray
And fair lady swears she'll die
Whilst gray is broadening her green
She will free fall from the hive
For nothing is just what it seems.
